Web Development – Basic

Duration: 4 sessions, 3 hours per session (TOTAL 12 Hours)

Course Description:

Web development is everything involved in the creation of a website. Typically it refers to the coding and programming side of web site production as opposed to the web design side. It encompasses everything from a simple page of HTML text to complex, feature-rich applications designed to be accessed from various Internet-connected devices.

Examples of feature-rich web development include ecommerce websites, content management systems (CMS) and social networks. Common web development programming languages and software include Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, PHP, WordPress and MySQL.


Course Objective:
After 4 sessions, the students will be able to:
  1. History of WWW and HTML.
  2. Understanding IP, DNS and Servers.
  3. Learning what is the benefit of website.
  4. Learn how to write HTML Tags and structures.
  5. You will learn how to write your first static website
  6. Overview of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
  7. Overview of how to upload files to server
  8. Overview of CMS (Content Management System)
